Getting Started

• You can apply for your provisional driving licence 3 months before you reach your 17th birthday.
• You can apply for your Theory Test as soon as you receive your provisional licence and take it on your 17th birthday if you like!
• You need a copy of ‘The Highway Code’ and you should read this thoroughly if you want to increase your chances of passing your Theory Test first time. (I can lend you a copy free of charge on request).
• You can practice driving with a parent, guardian, friend or sibling provided that person is 21 years old and has held a full driving licence for 3 years or more.
